I cannot believe my beautiful baby girl is already here! Chanelle Calais Steele was born Monday, February 16th at 9:29 am. She weighed in at 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long.
I began to have contractions Sunday night leading on into the early hours of Monday. They became more painful and regular and after about 2 hours of timing them, I woke Garrett and told him we are having this baby. We arrived at the hospital around 4:00 am. By then my contractions got even worse, but thanks to that wonderful thing called an epidural, which saved me till delivery. After about 5 hours of labor we were blessed with the presence of our new addition. Chanelle is a beautiful girl with great health and is growing strong.
We were discharged the following day, Tuesday at 5:00 pm. I am so happy to be home with my little family. Garrett has been very helpful this week, and attending to my every need. Thanks babe for everything and for putting together this video.
