The month of October came and went, and along the way the warm weather. However we did have good times to fill up those oppressing cool fall days.

On October 11th, my parents came to visit with us. We drove down to Zion's, where my uncle has a beautiful vacation home. We stayed there from Monday- Wednesday. The next day after getting back, My great grandmother Margarete turned 103 years old!!! She is truly an incredible woman. We thoroughly enjoyed the chance to celebrate her special day with her!

My mom stayed with us for another week, which I always enjoy! We always enjoy her company at our home! My girls love her! We went to Cornbelly's while she was here and had a blast. Brooklyn loved it, their was so much to do there.

On October 23rd, we attended our wards yearly Trunk or Treating. Brooklyn was little riding hood, and Chanelle was a red pepper.

On Halloween eve, Brooklyn came to the store with me to pick out some pumpkins. However it was really cold so I hurried and chose them. I think she enjoyed it somewhat though.... That night we carved our pumpkins, but never got around to baking the seeds. What a shame. The next day Chelsea and Channing came over to Trick or Treat with us. Brooklyn loved it! She kept looking in her bag to admire all of the candy she had received.
