On Saturday August 29th, we arrived in Seattle for a much needed vacation. As some of you know, my brother, sister and my parents live in the area. So we crashed with my parents and spent the week hanging out with them. It was great to see all of my family.

Monday, we strolled downtown Seattle and grabbed some fish and chips at Pikes Market. Later on we had family pictures by Snowqualmie Falls, Brooklyn's smile didn't last too long and soon turned into runaway tears & screams; Argh...

Tuesday we took a ferry over to the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. If any of you have read Twilight then a few of these towns will be familiar. We drove through Port Angeles and over to Forks where we stayed the night. It's funny to me that this town profits so much from the twilight fans that go there when none of the movie was filmed there. Anyway, the next day we went to LaPush, a nearby Indian reservation which has some beautiful beaches (see pix).

Since we had on-sight baby sitters Garrett and I were able to go out a bit, Thanks mom ;) Wednesday night Garrett and I took a romantic dinner cruise along the Puget Sound which enabled us to see a lot of the small islands, with HUGE homes, surrounding the Seattle area.

Thursday night Garrett went flying with my dad and after took me to see "500 days of summer" Great movie BTW.

Friday night I caught up with just the ladies for dinner at z tejas and watched "The time Travelers wife".

Saturday was the BYU game at Sean's house; were we enjoyed the food and victory!

On Labor day, my brother Sean ran a half marathon.It was called the Super Jock N' Jill and he took 6th place!!! His time was an amazing 1:09:32. I'm so proud of him!

We took off later that afternoon, and I am so happy that my girls were such great travelers in the car and on the plane. We had a great time! Look forward to our next visit/move? :)
